Mrs. Janet Quast
Grade: 3rd Grade
My name is Janet Quast. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education Grades 1-8 from Youngstown State University in 1991. I have taken graduate courses from Malone and Ashland Universities. Before coming to Chapel Hill Christian School, I homeschooled our son, substituted in the public school system, and taught 5th grade for three years at Heartland Christian School in Columbiana, Ohio. My favorite subjects are Bible, science, and math. I am excited to be teaching in a Christian school setting again where I am free to pray with students and share my love for the Lord with them.
My husband and I have two married daughters who have blessed us with eight grandchildren. Our five school-age grandchildren attend the CHCS North campus. We also have a son who is stationed in San Diego, California serving in the United States Navy. I believe that God is at the center of every subject and class, and gives meaning and purpose to everything that I teach. As a teacher at Chapel Hill Christian School, I will work with students to help them grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. My prayer for my students is that they will each develop a love of learning and a love for God that will last a lifetime. |
