Mrs. Jennifer Hurd

My name is Jennifer Hurd and I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families of Chapel Hill Christian School. I am excited to see what experiences and growth the Lord has in-store for us this year! I thank you in advance for allowing me to be a part of this stage in your child's life. I have heard many great things about this school, both academically and spiritually, and I am honored to be able to take part in and contribute to that. I went through Norton City Schools (K-12) and graduated in 2004. At the time I thought that I should go to school to be a pharmacist, but after heeding the Lord's direction, I went into teaching and have loved EVERY minute of it. I attended Cedarville University for my entire college education. Cedarville was a wonderful learning and growth experience for me that I will cherish forever. I graduated Cedarville in December 2007 and quickly transformed my duties of being a student into being a wife on January 5, 2008. My husband (Aaron) and I currently live in Copley with our dog and 2 cats. I am now working on my Masters of Education from Marygrove College. I desire to make learning fun and memorable for each of my students and also to show them how to honor God in all that they do and say and learn all they can about Him. The classroom is like your child's second home and I hold the responsibility of keeping that homey feeling very high in my standards. It is a place they will feel safe, loved and supported and at the same time be expanding their knowledge to whole new levels. Please know that I am here for you and your child in any way and I look forward to meeting and getting to know each and everyone of you. This is going to be a great year! WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!! |
What's Special About This Grade?
I love to watch kindergarten students' excitement and thirst for learning. I am always amazed at how much they learn in only one school year!
