Mrs. Suzanne Gay
Computers / Technology
My name is Suzanne Gay, and I worked as a substitute in 2002-2003, then began teaching Fourth Grade in the 2003-2004 school year. I enjoy teaching fourth grade, as it is a special age of growth and excitement! Fourth graders are learning to take more personal responsibility in both their schoolwork and in their spiritual lives, and I look forward to helping your children grow into God-honoring young ladies and gentlemen who thirst for knowledge.
I was born in Akron, growing up in Munroe Falls before going to Malone College in Canton, Ohio. I graduated with a Middle Childhood degree in 2002. The blessing of attending a Christian college is that it deepened my desire to teach in a Christian school. I will be teaching your child spelling, language, and Bible. I also teach math and Science to all of the fourth graders. I look forward to helping your child discover God's consistency through math, and God's detailed creativity through science! I believe that God specially designs each child for a purpose, and I enjoy getting to know the unique qualities of each of my students. My prayer for your children through the year is that they will grow in their love of learning, love of God, and love of others. (Luke 2:52) Accelerated Reader®
Students may choose any book that has an AR test made for it. To find out whether your book has an AR test, consult www.arbookfind.com. Please don't allow your student to read a book and plan on taking a test without checking this list. There is nothing we can do if a book is read without there being a test and they will not get credit for reading it. Students make their own choice with parents overseeing.
